# Daredevil Comics #47 (March 1948) This issue contains two full-length Daredevil stories. In the first story, Joe wins eighty thousand dollars in a sweepstakes and celebrates by giving Elaine and himself gifts, but his newfound wealth attracts unwanted attention from criminals who attempt to rob him. In the second story, "Sniffer," Daredevil's canine companion is kidnapped by a criminal and his lieutenant, who use the dog to locate a cache of stolen goods hidden in the city.
