The third chapter of Tom King and Jorge Fornés's Danger Street arrives with a cover as striking as its title suggests — a brooding, heavyset figure seated in shadow against a vivid, circuit-board-like backdrop of teal, yellow, and red, while the word "Metamorpho" spirals cryptically in the negative space beside him. Fornés's design sensibility is unmistakable here, balancing stark minimalism on the left with an almost psychedelic geometric richness on the right, colored brilliantly by Dave Stewart. This DC Black Label series continues to feel like one of 2023's most visually distinct offerings, and this issue looks every bit as intriguing as that reputation promises.
