Written by Andy Hartnell with art by Nick Bradshaw, the story follows the Danger Girls as they face off against a revived threat from their past, blending action, humor, and the series' signature pulpy style.
"Back in Black [Part 1]" kicks off a high-stakes mission for the Danger Girls as they clash with Ox’s biker gang and foil a sinister auction for the ancient Black Seed—only to be overpowered by the enigmatic Gentleman. Captured and separated, the team faces a cruel twist when Ruby is shot, forcing her long-lost mother into a desperate choice. Written by Andy Hartnell and illustrated by Nick Bradshaw, with inks by Jim Charalampidis and colors by Jim Charalampidis, the issue’s dynamic art and tense pacing are matched by J. Scott Campbell’s striking cover.
In "Back in Black [Part 1]," Abbey and Sydney are sent by Deuce to recover the Black Seed—a mystical Indian skull stolen by the leader of a rogue biker gang—leading them into a high-octane chase that kicks off with a wild bar fight. After the brawl, they team up with Ruby, a fierce biker with her own crew, as the hunt for the artifact heats up across the desert roads.
In "Back in Black [Part 2]," Abbey and Sydney go deep undercover at a high-octane motorcycle rally, chasing a stolen artifact linked to the elusive Ox. Meanwhile, Barracuda and Zero race against time to secure a crucial information disc from Kita Corp, adding tension to an already volatile mission.
In "Back in Black [Part 3]," the Danger Girls face off against Ox’s biker gang in a high-stakes bid to stop the sale of the Black Seed to the enigmatic Gentleman. Though they’re overwhelmed and captured, the real danger unfolds at the Gentleman’s lair, where Ruby is unexpectedly reunited with her long-lost mother—only to be shot in the neck, forcing her mother to confront the terrible choice of using the Black Seed to bring her back.
In "Back in Black [Part 4]," Johnny and Agent Zero race against time to stop the mysterious pod from reaching the Gentleman, unaware of the deadly secret it holds. With Ruby’s mother having used the Black Seed to bring her daughter back, the Gentleman now aims to revive the pod’s contents—Natalia Kassle—while the Danger Girls intervene to save Ruby and her mother. The stakes rise as the pod’s true purpose comes into focus, and the team must act fast before the resurrection is complete.
