From Walker, Jones, and Drake comes the second issue of Image's teen-superhero series Danger Club, and the cover sets an urgent, kinetic tone right away. A young heroine in a white-and-pink costume — goggles on her head, a pistol in one hand and a whip-like device in the other — rockets through the air amid explosive bursts of flame, debris, and drifting smoke, large Japanese kanji looming dramatically behind her. It's a propulsive, visually inventive 2012 Image entry that makes clear this series isn't pulling any punches.
