Part two of "Picking Up the Pieces" finds Damage and The Ray in the thick of a chaotic brawl, and this July 1995 cover by Bill Marimon and Don Hillsman captures the chaos with real energy. Damage crouches at the center with energy crackling at his fist, while The Ray hovers in his black-and-yellow costume trailing flames, and a hulking armored figure in green and blue looms threateningly nearby — with more defeated armored bodies strewn across the ground. With the hunt for Dr. Polaris driving the three-part story, this is a solid chapter in Damage's mid-'90s DC run.
