Dakota Lil, a nightclub singer, becomes entangled in a criminal scheme when she discovers that a stolen I.O.U. for $2,500 signed by someone named Logan has surfaced. Two men, Vincent and Steve, recruit her to help them locate Logan and retrieve incriminating evidence before a dangerous criminal named Carter can find it. As Dakota Lil navigates the criminal underworld, she discovers that her real name is Tom Horn and that she is actually involved in a complex con to expose a gang of criminals.
