The opening volume of this French-language thriller from Dufaux and Adamov sets an immediately arresting tone: a fierce, blonde woman in a long coat stands weapon-drawn against a storm-lashed London skyline — the Gherkin and surrounding towers unmistakable behind her as lightning tears through the clouds. It's a confident, atmospheric introduction to a series that clearly has style and danger in equal measure, and Glénat's 2012 release makes a strong first impression right from the cover.
