Two robots in casual streetwear — one in a red cap and graphic tee, the other sporting a camo-patterned outfit and a "Be Re" periodic-table shirt — lounge on a couch surrounded by scattered gear, toy figures, and gadgets, while holographic fighter projections flicker on the floor in front of them. It's a wonderfully laid-back scene that captures the comedy and heart at the core of Ryan Ferrier and Valentín Ramón's robot-life series. Issue 002 of D4VE2 keeps the irreverent spirit of IDW's 2015 series firing on all cylinders.
