Dämons #7

Volume 7 of Dämons from Bamboo Édition's Doki Doki imprint closes in on its haunting subject with a striking close-up of a pale-haired, sharp-eyed figure whose flowing silver locks and intense, almost melancholy expression radiate an otherworldly tension. The work of Tezuka Osamu and Yonehara Hideyuki, this 2010 release channels the brooding atmosphere the series does so well, letting a single face carry the full weight of its supernatural drama. If you've been following this collaboration, volume 7 makes it very clear the story still has plenty of darkness left to unravel.
