Doug's military team comes under heavy fire. While on live television, Doug runs to an exposed area and rescues a wounded comrade. IMSI promotes Doug to Lieutenant. His next mission takes place entirely off-camera, and IMSI orders Doug and his team to eliminate all the men of a hostile village. Doug doesn't like the decision but carries out his orders. Proving himself to IMSI, he's offered a position as a celebrity soldier, which carries with it the benefit of missions with very low risk.
