“The Battle of the Milk Cans”

In "The Battle of the Milk Cans," young scientist Guy Newton dons the alias Volton after harnessing static electricity to supercharge his own body, only to find the Police Commissioner skeptical of his powers. When a bank robbery erupts, Volton must prove his worth in a high-stakes showdown—using his electrifying abilities in ways no one could have predicted. The story, illustrated with crisp energy by Charles Quinlan Sr. and boldly rendered on the cover by Harry Parkhurst, captures the bold spirit of early superhero tales from 1940.
