# Curly Kayoe #7 The issue contains two main stories. In the first, Curly Kayoe begins secret training in a New York gymnasium under the management of Happy and Chick Barnum to prepare for a boxing match, keeping his regimen hidden from the masked Mauler to prevent the villain from sabotaging his efforts. In the second story, Curly is sent to the fictional country of Bordania, where he is challenged to a boxing match by Boris Borscht, the world's heavyweight champion, as part of a propaganda scheme by Bordania's new government; during the bout, Curly faces interference from local officials and nearly loses before mounting a comeback in the final round.
