Mike Carey and Jonathan Wayshak's Cul-de-Sac #2 from Bad Idea confronts you immediately with one of the more unsettling cover images of 2025 — a massive, decomposing creature filling the frame, its jagged fangs splayed wide, multiple sickly yellow eyes clustered together, and pale, hair-like tendrils radiating outward in every direction. Wayshak's painted artwork has a raw, visceral quality that makes the thing feel genuinely alive and wrong in equal measure.
