The Hawks battle the Shrike, a flying villain whose wings can generate lightning or wind. When defeated, he confesses that he does not know how he gained his powers, so they figure out that he is from the planet Moronon and return him there, where they are attacked by the forces of the evil ruler, who knows that the Shrike is the rightful monarch.
