Cryin' Lion Comics #3

The Cryin' Lion is chased by a ghost, calling his companion Waldo to escape. In a separate story, a young girl named Stony encounters a kangaroo named Pouchy while on an elephant hunt, and Pouchy offers to give Stony a lift by hopping. "The Story Teller" by Dick Wood recounts how Tommy Brown, a scholarly youth from New Bedford, joined the whaling ship Harpoon despite initial ridicule from the crew, particularly from the rough sailor Emanuel, who eventually came to respect him. A third story features a character who wins a race by trickery, defeats Prairie at the finish line, and hides in a hideout with ransom money before being chased down.
