Crusader from Mars #2

This issue is an anthology containing at least three stories. The lead story follows a Task Force pilot who crash-lands on the Moon and is revealed to be a deserter from the Third Solar System Space Command; he is arrested by Space Police after being exposed as having covered up Martian smugglers. "Prison Planet" depicts the court martial of Captain Jon Barrett, a Space Police officer accused of colluding with Martian smugglers, who protests his innocence before being sentenced to exile on Prison Planet. "The Space Bums" tells of two space travelers, Thick and Thin, who embark on an interplanetary race to Venus on August 27, 2602, competing for a fifty-million-credit prize offered by the Inter-Planetary Government to the winner of the space ship race from Earth.
