"The Body in the Woods" recounts the true crime case of Nick Bosk, executed in November 1941, in which George Fennel murdered a motorist while towing a trailer, claiming an act of generosity to help stranded travelers masked his criminal intent. The issue also features "Out to Murder" and "Can You Solve the Black Panther Murder Case," among other crime narratives presented as cautionary tales demonstrating that crime does not pay.
