Crime Does Not Pay #116 contains at least two stories: "Bloody Hideout" depicts a crime ring's hideout in a Midwestern town on March 4th, 1951, where wounded criminals Andy Classon, Dave Deth, and Richie Norlick hole up after a bank robbery that left a guard and teller dead, ultimately leading to their downfall. "Hear No Evil" follows Eugene Miller, a man driven to crime through a desire for easy money and revenge on society, whose violent career culminates in a state bank robbery in 1939 where he brutally assaults a guard before being captured after an escape attempt from a reformatory laundry.
