# Crime Detector #4 The main story, "Murder at the Burlesque," features detective Mike Danger investigating the death of Babs Jonson, a showgirl at the Parkton Hotel. Through questioning, Mike learns that Babs was killed the night she was about to marry a private eye who had been pursuing her, and he uncovers clues involving her connections to underworld figures. A second story involves a sea captain and criminals dealing with shark-infested waters; Steve, facing sharks and Chinese adversaries while attempting to retrieve a briefcase, takes a desperate gamble by swinging over the water to reach safety, successfully obtaining the case before the sharks can trace him to shore.
