Crime Detective Comics #3

Crime Detective Comics #3 is an anthology containing at least two stories. One story involves Robert Carson, who is secretly working with spies to obtain blueprints for a "three stage rocket engine," meeting clandestinely to exchange stolen data. Another story concerns a man named Jed who becomes entangled with criminals after overhearing that Mayor Jennings and Mr. Harris were murdered by Mr. Ruder; Jed later reveals he found bullet holes as proof and attempts to protect his friends from the criminals' retaliation. A third story features a Gypsy named Beaupre who plans to leave civilization and return to his father, but becomes involved in a conflict with business associates and gypsies over treasure or disputed territory, resulting in confrontation and gunfire.
