This issue contains multiple crime stories. "Green Rainbow" follows Don Smith, a snarling young hoodlum who has mastered the con of using a rod and bluff to pick up money from eccentric old men, until he attempts to manipulate an elderly man he discovers is far more dangerous than expected. Another story depicts a colonial setting where Marcel Gerard, a commissary officer, grows frustrated with repeated escape attempts and executes a prisoner as a brutal example, only to face unexpected consequences. A third narrative shows Joey, an ambitious criminal who plans a bank robbery timed precisely for 8:50 AM when the bank opens, boasting of his superior intellect before attempting the heist and facing the criminal underworld's harsh justice.
