This anthology issue contains three true crime stories. "Obey the Law" depicts a horse theft ring operating between England and America, with stolen matched whites becoming the target of an investigation. "Steve Bracy and Al Moss" recounts how these criminals orchestrated a kidnapping and attempted robbery that resulted in their capture by Detective Lieutenant Walter Hoffman. "James Conlon" chronicles one of the largest mail robberies of all time, involving a train heist at a railroad station on the West Coast in March 1944, with Conlon's gang attempting to steal mail from Pullman berths before being apprehended.
