A doctor attempts to cure a woman of her vampirism by giving her a transfusion from her husband. He hands her a mirror and see thinks that she sees her reflection, but after the doctor has left, the husband tells her there was no reflection and she only thought see saw one because she wanted to so badly. Now that she has been invited into the house, he knows that he is no longer safe from her bloodlust, and he stakes her. She willingly lets him end her undead existence.
