Dark Horse's Creepy #23 brings together a remarkable lineup of horror talents — Ryan Brown, Rachel Deering, Federico de Luca, Jai Nitz, Andrea Mutti, Dan Braun, Jose Bea, Joshua Boulet, Tony Guaraldi-Brown, Fred Ott, Auraleon, T. Casey Brennan, and Richard Corben — for what the cover promises is "a provocative and pulverizing issue" of illustrated horror. The cover itself is a genuinely unsettling image: a skeletal figure in a tattered white bridal gown and veil stands with her back to us in a moonlit graveyard, clutching a wilting bouquet amid crumbling headstones and scattered white birds.
