Creepy #17
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDark Horse's revival of the horror anthology Creepy delivers another unsettling package with issue #17, subtitled "A Fiendish Faceful of Frights." Juan Ferreyra's cover art pulls no punches — a figure seated at a table has the top of its skull torn open like a grotesque mouth full of jagged teeth, and peering out from within that cavity are two horrified figures, their faces contorted with dread and streaked with blood. It's a viscerally imaginative piece of illustrated horror, and with contributions from Paul Tobin and Juan Ferreyra alongside a roster of other storytellers, this 2014 anthology makes a strong case for Creepy's billing as "the finest in illustrated horror.
