Cracked's "Great Big Monster Issue" (No. 213, August 1985) packs an impressive crowd of horror icons onto Murad Gümen's cover — Frankenstein's Monster, a vampire woman, a mummy, Darth Vader, what appears to be the Alien creature, a Gremlin, and more all scramble in panic while a lone figure in a yellow raincoat waves cheerfully from the doorway above them. The joke is right there on the surface: even the most fearsome monsters in pop culture history are apparently terrified of something, and "America's Humorest Funny Magazine" is happy to let you wonder what.
