“The Outlaws of Satan's Roost”

Scans of Suspense takes a wonderfully surreal turn with this Bumblebee-Man cover, presenting a close-up of a human face merged with a bumblebee costume — complete with compound-lens goggles, antennae, and yellow-and-black coloring — staring out from a blurred green background with an intensity that's equal parts unsettling and oddly compelling. The bold "Veni Vidi Scani" tagline and the Comics Code Authority stamp add to the cheerful absurdity, while a cartoon cow clutching a red balloon makes a cameo in the corner for good measure. It's a genuinely charming piece of comics oddity that invites you to join the community over on Newnet's #ComicChat.
