Three figures bathed in deep crimson shadows anchor Caitlin Yarsky's striking cover for this 2018 Image series — a young girl clutching wooden sticks, a hooded elder woman, and a looming third figure whose clawed hand cradles a glowing origami bird, its light the only warmth in an otherwise foreboding scene. Sean Lewis and Yarsky's Coyotes has been delivering a darkly folkloric world, and this third issue promises more of that unsettling, mythic atmosphere. At $3.99, it's a beautifully rendered chapter in one of Image's more intriguing horror series of 2018.
