"Wagon Train to Love" follows Perry Gould and Jan as their wagon train is attacked by Indians, forcing them to flee. Perry professes his love for Jan and declares her the only woman he's ever said it to, though Jan remains uncertain of his feelings. Later, at a villa party, Jan dances with the handsome Reed, causing Perry jealousy. "Thunder in the Sky" features Ace attempting a dangerous riding stunt to impress Cleo, but he locks his feet in the stirrups and is dragged, injuring himself. Cleo, unimpressed and viewing Ace as a competitor rather than a suitor, rejects him, telling him a woman belongs in the kitchen. "Rodeo Romance" concludes the issue with additional romantic entanglements among the cowboys and their love interests.
