Cowboy Comics #40

Boy Comics #40 features two complete stories. "Crimebuster" involves a jammed fryer in a diner where a character named Johnny attempts to fix it, while backstory reveals tensions surrounding a woman named Marie from high school and questions about guilt and bias. A second story follows a man in a blue suit who becomes trapped and pursued through a building by police and other figures, involving accusations of theft and a yellow convertible, before he meets with a man named Mr. Wade and Mr. Boyle. The issue also includes "Pete the Pig in 'The Sailor Loves the Sea,'" an animated cartoon where Pete, aspiring to be a sailor, boards a ship and experiences seasickness while performing deck duties.
