Cookie is "the funniest kid in town," and this issue features two stories: "Don't Be Too Sure!" follows a new student named Lon Archer who tries to impress the popular girl Gay Brewer by asking her to a school party, only to learn a humbling lesson about humility and acceptance when she initially rebuffs him; the second story depicts Cookie and his friends dealing with a rainy day indoors, where Cookie's moody behavior about the weather frustrates his companions until they find ways to entertain themselves.
