Cookie #23

Cookie #23 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "J. Jones, True Blue Friend!" depicts Jitterbuck Jones's jealousy when his best friend Angelpuss begins dating Cookie; after Cookie makes a date with Angelpuss, Jitterbuck attempts to sabotage it by calling Cookie and demanding he break the date, but the plan backfires when Cookie refuses and Jitterbuck must reconcile his conflicting loyalties. Another story follows two characters named Cowdy and Mort Burn building a "Mort-Cycle" by combining parts from a hot rod and motorcycle, eventually creating a hybrid vehicle to take on a road trip. A third story depicts a football coach attempting to motivate his team before their big game by urging them not to get distracted by girls and other temptations, stressing that this is their chance to prove themselves on the field.
