The penultimate chapter of Marvel's 2019 horror event arrives with one of its most unsettling covers yet — a fungus-ravaged New York cityscape framing a group of infected heroes, including Captain America (shield still in hand), Spider-Man, and the Hulk, all grotesquely consumed by the spreading corruption. At the center stands a lone figure wreathed in living flame, channeling crackling green energy as though fire itself might be the last line of defense against the relentless plague. Juan José Ryp's densely detailed linework makes every pustule and tendril of the infection feel viscerally real, and with Veronica Gandini's sickly palette pushing the dread to its limit, this finale setup is hard to put down.
