A young woman spending her holiday with her aunt meets a charming man with a reputation for being a little reckless. Despite his reputation, Eve finds herself attracted to him and they go on several dates. One night she discovers him returning home at 2 a.m. on a badly sprained ankle. Due to his ankle, he asks her to deliver a small package to London for him, but is secretive about its contents. As she complies with his request, events occur that make her wonder if she is being involved in something illegal.
