“There Goes The Neighborhood”

The SNL aliens take Paris in this wildly fun second issue of Marvel's Coneheads miniseries, with a cover by Tom Richmond and Marie Severin dropping Beldar, Prymaat, and Connie into a speeding red convertible barreling through the streets beneath the Eiffel Tower. A hapless bystander goes flying, a startled poodle scrambles clear, a flying saucer hovers in the background, and the urgent burst "Beldar Must Die!" promises that not everyone in the City of Light is charmed by their cone-shaped visitors. It's a gloriously chaotic 1994 snapshot of America's favorite alien suburbanites abroad, rounded out with the rallying cry "Vive La Cone!
