Conan el bárbaro especial #[2]
This fifteenth volume of Planeta DeAgostini's Conan el bárbaro especial series collects a selection of classic Conan tales from the original Marvel Comics run, featuring the Cimmerian's adventures through the Hyborian Age. The stories showcase the character's brutal combat, cunning, and encounters with sorcery and ancient civilizations, as scripted by various writers and illustrated by notable artists of the era. It continues the Spanish-language reprint of the iconic sword-and-sorcery series that began in 1987.
Conan the Barbarian Special #2 (1987) features the story "Rey del pueblo olvidado," written by Robert E. Howard, Roy Thomas, Beatriz Oberlander, and Amparo Úbeda, with art by Gil Kane and coloring by George Roussos. The issue presents Conan in a tale set in the Hyborian Age, illustrated in the distinctive style of Gil Kane, whose work defines both the interior and cover art.
In "La hermandad carmesí," Conan flees King Thamos' relentless pursuit across storm-lashed seas, only to be captured by ruthless pirates and ensnared by a mysterious water nymph. When he frees her, their fates intertwine in a desperate bid for survival, leading to a brutal clash with the tyrannical Kezan Val and the forging of a new brotherhood forged in blood and defiance.
