Conan the Barbarian #1 (2013) from Panini Deutschland opens with "Die Königin der Schwarzen Küste, Teil 1," featuring Conan as he encounters a mysterious queen amidst the perilous shores of a dark coastline. The issue is written by Brian Wood and Michael Strittmatter, with art by Becky Cloonan, who also handles inking, while Dave Stewart provides coloring and RAM the lettering. The cover, illustrated by Massimo Carnevale, depicts a striking image of the story's central figure.
