"Casual Kisses" follows Earline Gray, a glamorous fashion and beauty editor, and Davis Dent, a male model, who are picked for a goodwill tour to South America promoting United States fashions. Despite their professional attraction, Earline initially dismisses Davis as superficial until he reveals his deeper character. After winning a beauty contest in her hometown of Centerville, Earline attempts to return home but is stopped by a man seeking "pretty girls for cheesecake poses," leading her to flee to the movies. Sidney, a wealthy man who helps Earline escape and later professes his love, asks her to marry him and become the kind of wife any man would be proud to have, and she accepts his affections.
