Newspaper reporters Peter and Dick join military intelligence upon outbreak of war. After the fall of France they are sent to North Africa, where they prove their worth in action. Transferred to Cairo, Peter becomes suspicious of a fellow officer. On a mission behind enemy lines his fears are proven true. He has to escape from captivity with his intelligence, whilst settling scores with the traitor. He makes it back to allied lines with the help of fellow-escapee Smallshaw. Peter's information proves vital in stopping a German offensive.
