Disgraced Wehrmacht officer Kurt Reiner was posted to a Penal Battalion on the Eastern Front. There he and his comrades were used as cannon fodder, sent to attack Russian positions when no one cared if they lived or died. Then they got the chance to serve on an armored train, but it meant even greater peril for Kurt. His bitterest enemy was already there, and that evil officer was more dangerous than any Russian.
