☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCommander Battle leads a mission to recover the Atomic Sub's hull from Antarctica after it crashes near the South Pole, encountering mysterious fiery spheres that destroy the atomic plane. The recovered sub is transported across the Antarctic ice to safety, but during the operation, Champ encounters a gorilla-like creature at a carnival, initially mistaking it for the zombie-like being that attacked him earlier. The issue concludes with uncertainty about whether the creature Champ encountered was merely a gorilla in disguise or something more sinister.
In the icy depths of Antarctica, Commander Bill Battle and his Atomic Sub crew face a sudden assault from a hidden civilization of alien warriors who emerge from beneath the ice with mysterious, high-tech weapons. As the invaders launch a coordinated attack using electric bolts and pressure guns, the crew must defend their vessel and fight back against a foe unlike any they’ve encountered—before the enemy’s next move threatens the entire nation.
In a quiet moment far from the front lines, PFC. Don Clarke drifts off to sleep on a rubber raft in the harbor, unaware that the rising tide has set him adrift—only to wake and discover an enemy submarine surfacing beneath him. With quick thinking, he devises a plan to mark the sub’s position by tethering a rope to its conning tower, hoping to alert shore defenses before it escapes.
