“Big Guns”

In "Big Guns," Anderson's relentless pursuit of the X killer takes a terrifying turn as he deploys a squad of massive, heavily-armored androids in a high-stakes chase. With help from the elusive Pit Bulls, X narrowly escapes into the city's dark sewers—only to confront something far worse than machines: a monstrous presence that defies explanation. Written by Steven Grant and brought to life by Doug Mahnke’s dynamic art, with inks by James Palmiotti, colors by Pamela Rambo, and lettering by Lois Buhalis, this 1994 Dark Horse standout delivers a pulse-pounding blend of sci-fi dread and underground action, all capped by a striking cover by Mahnke and Palmiotti.

Anderson continues to try to eliminate the X killer by sending what appears to be a group of oversized heavily-armored android/automatons after him. X gets some help from the Pit Bulls, a super-secret emergency squad known to few. Having escaped into the sewers, X is faced by what can only be described as a monster.
