Comics Festival! [Free Comic Book Day] #[nn]
In "Lady's Favor," Faith Erin Hicks crafts a sharp, character-driven tale where superhero Kevin stages his own death to boost his popularity—only to learn the hard way that public perception isn’t so easily manipulated. With Hicks handling every aspect of the interior art and storytelling, and Noreen Rana’s subtle colors enhancing the mood, the story explores the cost of fame through a moment of quiet reckoning. The cover by Isabelle Arsenault captures the issue’s wry tone with a striking, stylized portrait.
