Comic Cavalcade #31
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA wonderful winter gathering from DC's 76-page anthology, this February–March 1949 issue brings together the full cast of funny-animal favorites — The Fox sliding chaotically down a snowy hill, the Crow industriously laying bricks with cement below, the Frog and Nutsy Squirrel looking on in amusement, and a whole crowd of woodland critters bundled up for the cold. Jim Davis pencils and inks the cover with warm, expressive energy that captures the slapstick spirit perfectly. At fifteen cents, this was a terrific deal for fans of The Fox and the Crow, The Dodo and the Frog, and Nutsy Squirrel all under one roof.
