“The Spanish Main”

In "The Spanish Main," Srongbow—raised by the Mohawks after being lost from a wagon train—wields the Sacred War Bow and returns as Dr. Jim Barnaby, only to learn that his mentor, Dr. Tad Barnaby, has been murdered by the treacherous Comanche war chief Howling Wolf. Geoff Campion’s dynamic artwork brings to life the clash of cultures and the simmering revenge that drives Srongbow’s journey. The cover by Derek Charles Eyles captures the rugged spirit of the tale, a 3d comic from 1953 that blends frontier drama with personal destiny.
