This anthology issue contains four stories: "Scamp," a wordless comic about a mischievous orange dog's seaside holiday during which he causes chaos with crabs and nearly drowns before being rescued; "Splash Page and the Missing Prince," an action-adventure featuring a car chase, kidnappers, and Splash Page discovering a kidnapped boy and pursuing the criminals to an Eastern European embassy; "Buck Jones—The Wild Girl of the Hills," in which Buck Jones proves the innocence of Hetty, a girl falsely accused of robbery, by helping her escape from outlaws and locating the real culprits; and "Don Deeds," an adventure story where Don Deeds rescues Mai-Mai from an island stronghold by using bamboo as a catapult to escape pursuers across a river.
