This anthology issue contains three main stories: "Stoogie" on the cover depicts a character who has burned himself and cut himself with a safety razor and nearly got run over at a safety crossing; an adventure story featuring characters named Tess and Tim who discover ancient cave dwellings in Africa while searching for villains, leading to a perilous escape across a rope bridge; and "Darrell King Private Investigator & Jim Dent v The Cobra," in which the protagonists attempt to stop a cobra and its criminal handlers from robbing a central bank of diamonds, culminating in a chase involving an acid spray and multiple confrontations. The final story shown is "Mesa Pete in a Little Big Game Hunter," a humorous tale of Pete attempting to trap game animals in the jungle, where he encounters a lion he believes has been trained to perform tricks.
