The Colorado Kid becomes involved in a gold shipment robbery when a gunman known as Rock-Face Johnson attempts to steal precious cargo being transported by stagecoach to Los Angeles. After a confrontation in a saloon where Rock-Face Johnson draws first in a gunfight, the Colorado Kid heads to the sheriff's office, where he encounters the outlaw's hidden brother—a woman wanted for murder in a frontier town—and learns that a valuable Indian knife proves her connection to the crime.
