A beautiful young widow agrees to marry an old suitor for the sake of her son, but when she shows up at the church, discovers he is marrying someone else. It was all part of a plan to humiliate her for rejecting him years ago, but he has even worse plans for her. A private investigator hired by the old suitor finds her after she runs out of the church and takes her to a medical building where he claims her son is waiting. In reality, unscrupulous doctors have agreed to admit her on the floor where the leprosy patients are quarantined for life.
