While riding home on his motorcycle, a girl suddenly appears on the road and motions for Ray to stop. She tells him her name and where she lives, but suddenly asks to be dropped off in the forest, saying she will take a shortcut. Intrigued by the mysterious girl, he goes to the address where she said she lived but her aunt and uncle show him a picture of the girl and tell him that she had drowned in the lake over a year ago.
